ISLAMIC VALUE–BASED SCHOOL INFORMATION MEDIA MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL QUALITY IN KEDIRI REGENCY
Abstract
This study examines the management of school information media based on Islamic values as a strategy to improve educational quality in Kediri Regency. In the digital era, information media play an important role in supporting educational management, transparency, and communication within Islamic educational institutions. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving school leaders, teachers, and media administrators. The findings reveal that Islamic values are integrated into information media management through ethical communication, value-based content selection, and responsible messaging. Information media are utilized to support academic services, character education, and institutional credibility. However, limitations in human resources, digital literacy, and the lack of standardized management guidelines remain significant challenges. This study concludes that effective, value-based management of school information media contributes positively to improving educational quality and strengthening stakeholder trust. Enhancing managerial capacity and developing structured media management strategies are essential for Islamic educational institutions in addressing contemporary educational challenges.
