Kepemimpinan Profetik Khulafaul Abbasiyah
الملخص
This article aims to analyze the prophetic leadership of Khulafaul Abbasid as a manifestation of prophetic values. Through a historical qualitative approach, this study finds that the Abbasid Dynasty displayed three main dimensions of prophetic leadership. First, the scientific dimension, in which the caliphs made science the main foundation of civilizational progress, by establishing Bayt al-Hikmah in Baghdad as a center for cross-cultural and religious knowledge development. Second, the legal dimension, which is reflected in the commitment to Islamic sharia as the basis of government and the establishment of a fair judicial system, as well as support for the development of schools of fiqh. Third, the social-humanitarian dimension, through the application of the values of tolerance, racial and ethnic equality, and the guarantee of religious freedom as long as it did not disturb public order. The Abbasid caliphs involved various ethnic and religious groups in governance and the development of knowledge, creating an inclusive and multicultural civilization. This finding shows that the Abbasid leadership was not merely political, but rooted in prophetic principles that prioritized knowledge, justice and humanity. Thus, the Abbasid leadership model is an important legacy in the study of transformative and sustainable Islamic leadership.
