Tadbir: Journal of Islamic Economics and Management implements a double-blind peer review process, meaning that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review to ensure objective and unbiased evaluation.

Review Workflow:

1. Initial Editorial Screening
   Submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editor for scope, completeness, formatting, and adherence to the journal’s guidelines.

2. Plagiarism Check
   All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts exceeding the 25% similarity threshold will be returned to the author.

3. Reviewer Assignment
   Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two reviewers with relevant expertise, without disclosing the author's identity.

4. Review Process
   Reviewers assess originality, scientific contribution, clarity of methodology, accuracy of analysis, and relevance of findings. The review process usually takes 2–4 weeks.

5. Editorial Decision Based on Review
   Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will issue one of the following decisions:

   • Accepted without revision

   • Accepted with minor revision

   • Accepted with major revision

   • Rejected

6. Author Revision
   Authors are requested to revise their manuscript according to reviewer comments within a specified time frame (7–14 days for minor revisions, 14–21 days for major revisions).

7. Re-review (if necessary)
   Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation if required.

8. Final Decision and Publication Scheduling
   Once the manuscript is accepted, the editor notifies the author and schedules it for publication in the upcoming issue.
