Abstract

Wealth distribution is a fundamental element in the Islamic economic system aimed at achieving economic justice and social welfare. This study examines the concept of wealth distribution and its role in promoting economic justice from an Islamic perspective through a qualitative literature review of relevant academic journals. The findings reveal that wealth distribution in Islam is based on the principles of justice, balance, and social responsibility derived from the Qur’an and Hadith. Instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and inheritance play a key role in preventing wealth concentration and ensuring equitable circulation within society. Moreover, wealth distribution encompasses social, economic, and spiritual dimensions that contribute to overall societal balance. Therefore, Islamic wealth distribution serves not only as an economic mechanism but also as a solution to inequality and a means of achieving sustainable justice.
